We, the BENELUX branch “SKECHERS USA Benelux BV”, are looking for a highly motivated professional who enjoys the challenge of working at a fast-growing, international company. Our corporate culture is characterized on part by short and direct lines of communication, where on the other hand the “backbone” of a large international group is present.
Your challenge is to proactively manage and expand our account base in a specific region, ensuring that the initial customer needs are explored, collaborations are established and maintained. You stimulate growth within the region and know how to seize opportunities to further expand this growth.
Our Benelux offices are in Waalwijk, but this position can be exercised from anywhere in the Netherlands.
What will you do?
The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving annual targets through the sales of the various collections of Skechers. You manage the entire (sales) journey of existing accounts and monitor customer satisfaction. You identify growth strategies within current accounts by analyzing sales figures and frequent store visits. You manage by figures through the strategic account plan.
You initiate and make contacts with new customers to establish lasting relationships, building business in your region. You compile monthly reports in which you share information regarding the best-selling products, developments and trends within your region. You work closely with customer service to monitor the order flow of your customers and adjust where necessary.
Job Requirements
What can we expect from you?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience and success in a sales and target driven environment.
- Having existing contacts in the shoe and sports retail and/or textile industry is definitely an advantage.
- You are analytical and numerically minded, this allows you to work well with data. You know how to read through sales figures and how to make the necessary adjustments.
- You have a hands-on mentality, are a go-getter and not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You are helpful to colleagues and do not have a wait-and-see attitude.
- Skilled in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Comfortable with presenting.
- Willing to travel frequently in the reference area and occasionally to other locations in Europe.
