Alpaca Loca is a young and innovative brand specializing in the design and production of high-quality alpaca wool products. We are primarily known for our luxurious and silky-soft throws and scarves. Alpaca wool is a natural, ultra-soft material with numerous advantages over sheep wool or cashmere. It is hypoallergenic, as it contains no lanolin, unlike sheep wool. The structure of alpaca wool is stronger than that of sheep wool or cashmere. It sheds far less, making it very comfortable to wear and itch-free. Additionally, it is highly resistant to dirt and water. Thanks to its hollow fibers, alpaca wool provides excellent insulation and is wonderfully warm. It is a 100% natural and fair trade product.

The wool used in Alpaca Loca products is sourced from alpacas in Ecuador. All products are handcrafted in Ecuador by a community of weavers. We place great importance on quality, tradition, integrity, and social responsibility, and we have intentionally chosen to structure our production in this way. The weavers are paid a fair wage, and we regularly visit the factory to ensure good working conditions. Your purchase directly contributes to the economic growth of Ecuador and helps alleviate poverty among alpaca herders.
