Assistant Financial Controller

Are you a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with an interest in financial administration? We are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to strengthen our team.

In this versatile role, you will support the financial department in managing the administration of various entities within Hooijer Footwear, preparing reports, and analyzing figures. Are you ready for an exciting role in a dynamic footwear company? Then read on!


What will you do?

• Assist the controller in implementing financial policies;
• Contribute to maintaining financial administration;
• Perform preparatory tasks for the monthly closing;
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reports;
• Work on interim and balance sheet accounts;
• Handle various other administrative tasks for the department.

What do we expect from you?

• A bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Finance or a related field;
• Hands-on mentality;
• Knowledge of accounting software;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
• Proven experience in financial administration;
• Affinity with B2C operations;
• Resilience under pressure and ability to work independently;
• Residency near Oldenzaal.
