The management board of Royal INretail has unanimously appointed Arno Commandeur (58) as business director. Together with general director Jan Meerman, he will form the management of the trade association for entrepreneurs in non-food retail as of December 1.
Commandeur brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship and business services, organizational development and ICT and was previously associated with The Future Group and Conclusion, among others.
“With Arno's arrival, the management team is at new strength. In several conversations in different compositions, his enthusiastic and connecting leadership style and focus on continuous improvement steps clearly emerged. These are valuable qualities that make a royal club of professionals even stronger and even better prepared for the future,” said Jan Meerman.
The management position at INretail became vacant due to the departure of Udo Delfgou who started as general director of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland on October 1.
