Customers had the opportunity to nominate their favorite shoemaker through reviews, forms on the website or by participating in the #ShoenmakerijvhJaar campaign on social media. The expert jury made unannounced visits to selected stores, paying attention to the quality of repairs, the appearance of the shoe repair shop and the personality of the shoemaker. The finalists are:

• Schoenmakerij ’t Centrum, Zutphen
• Vakschoenmakerij Esdras, Den Haag
• Schoenmakerij Peters, Elst

On Feb. 24, the finalists will be personally congratulated and put in the spotlight. The final winner will be revealed during “De dag voor de Schoenmaker” on March 4, 2024 at CAST in Nieuwegein.
